The brand new SILVA Tree Viewer is a web application to browse and query the SILVA guide trees. A technical preview is now available for testing and feedback.

26.08.2016 The 5th de.NBI Quaterly Newsletter published

The highlight of the last three months was without doubt the ratification of the ELIXIR Consortium Agreement by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). With this step the de.NBI network is asked to prepare a node application comprising the structure of the German ELIXIR node as well as the service and training activities offered on a European level. Thus de.NBI has reached one of its most important goals namely the internationalization of its tasks.

19.08.2016 Today Germany has officially joined ELIXIR.

The ELIXIR Node in Germany will be run by de.NBI, the German Network for Bioinformatics Infrastructure, which has been established to coordinate bioinformatics service provision across Germany.
